These terms govern your use of the ScenarioDeck desktop software, this website, software licensing and activation services when available, and related support surfaces. They apply alongside any mandatory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Product and licence
ScenarioDeck is a local-first developer tool for capturing supported application, browser, and API state into State Cards or State Capsules, then reopening supported saved state against current local code for debugging and testing. Its behaviour is limited to documented supported platforms and capture scope; it does not guarantee reproduction of every application, environment, backend, production issue, protocol, or third-party dependency.
Subject to a valid purchased entitlement and these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own development use. ScenarioDeck and its intellectual property remain ours; a purchase grants a software licence, not ownership of source code or other intellectual property. Any restriction on reverse engineering applies only to the extent enforceable by applicable law.
Offers and billing
Free Capture — $0 No expiry
Free Capture lets you capture, review, save, and share supported State Cards, and receive or import shared State Cards without payment, a card, or a trial countdown. It does not automatically start Developer access.
14-day full Developer trial
The full Developer trial is started explicitly without a payment card. When it ends, local State Cards and other local product data remain and the product falls back to Free Capture. Trial availability and access are determined by the trusted product and licensing implementation, not this website.
Solo Monthly — $12/month
Solo Monthly is billed monthly and renews unless you cancel it through the available Paddle subscription-management route. Cancellation stops a future renewal; it does not retroactively erase the period already paid for. Product access follows the current entitlement and paid-through implementation. Cancelling or expiry does not by itself delete your local State Cards or other local product data.
Founding Solo — $99 once
Founding Solo is a one-time payment for a perpetual licence to the ScenarioDeck Local/Solo capability sold under that offer. It does not include services, product lines, integrations, or capabilities sold separately in the future. We make no unlisted lifetime update or support commitment.
Paddle purchases
Purchases processed through Paddle are made through Paddle as the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the transaction, payment collection, billing, tax, and buyer transaction support under its Paddle Buyer Terms. ScenarioDeck provides and licences the software itself.
For receipts, subscription cancellation, transaction questions, or a refund request, use the management or support link in your Paddle receipt or visit Paddle buyer support.
Responsible use
You must use ScenarioDeck lawfully and only for applications, systems, and data you are authorised to capture or test. You are responsible for reviewing and redacting State Capsules before exporting or sharing them, protecting confidential or customer information, and respecting employer policies and third-party terms.
Do not bypass security or access controls, distribute malware, abuse services, or resell or sublicense ScenarioDeck contrary to your licence.
Availability and changes
Software can contain defects, experience interruptions, or be incompatible with particular environments. We provide ScenarioDeck within its documented supported scope and do not promise uninterrupted or universal reproducibility. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights.
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new updated date. We may suspend or end access where necessary to address abuse, security, or legal requirements. Local data is not deleted merely because a subscription ends or access is suspended.
